Pinellas County updated its water restrictions on March 31, 2009. All violations will be fined $188. That being said, I think that it is very important to observe what days you are permitted to water your lawn, wash your car, and pressure-wash your driveway!

The restrictions vary based on where your water is coming from. There are three choices from which you can choose from: An irrigation system that uses county water, an irrigation system using well, lake or pond water, or an irrigation system using reclaimed water.

Your watering day also depends on your house number. If you are using county, well, pond or lake water, and your house number ends in 0 or 1, your watering day is Monday. House numbers ending in 2 or 3 water on Tuesday. House numbers ending in 4 or 5 water on Wednesday. House numbers ending in 6 or 7 water on Thursday. House numbers ending in 8 or 9 water on Friday. Also, mixed or no addresses water on Friday.

Irrigation systems that use reclaimed water are entitled to water 3 days per week (only between April 1 to June 30, 2009, and October 1 to November 30, 2009). House numbers that end in an even number (0,2,4,6,8) are permitted to water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. House numbers ending in odd numbers (1,3,5,7,9) or homes with mixed or no address are permitted to water on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
